Discover the Magic of Wet Felting!
Working with colorful wool roving, yarn, and pieces of silk fabric, students will create two fiber artworks. Through the wet felting process, we will turn this light and fluffy wool into beautiful and permanent felt pieces. Learn how this process originated and the many ways people around the world work with and use felt!
After mastering the basics techniques in a two dimensional felt “painting”, students will learn how to create a 3D vessel or bowl. You can even customize your vessel shape. I’ll also show you how to add decorative elements to your interior/exterior surfaces. Inspiration and samples will be provided to spark your creativity!
Quality Merino wool and all supplies are included in the fee. Participants are also welcome to bring additional bits of 100% natural yarn/fiber to include in their artwork.
