Discover the Magic of Wet Felting!
2-day Workshop
Working with colorful wool roving, yarn, and pieces of silk fabric, students will create a fiber “painting.” Through the wet felting process, we will turn this light and fluffy wool into a beautiful and permanent felt artwork. Learn how this process originated and the many ways people around the world work with and use felt!
On the second day, with the basic techniques mastered, students will focus more on image creation. Composition, ways to combine materials and sources of inspiration will be discussed to help spark your creativity. We’ll even touch on creating three-dimensionally with wet felt!
Quality Merino wool and all supplies are included in the fee. Participants are also welcome to bring additional bits of 100% natural yarn/fiber to include in their artwork.
